Hi everyone: 

Arhum Saleem achieved a fantastic second place in his first junior tournament at the Massachusetts Open in Boston last weekend.

With over 250 juniors competing in all divisions he was unseeded and beat the #2 seed in the first round. He then went on to win several rounds beating the # 3 seed in the semi finals before losing to the # 1 seed in a very close game after being 8-2 up in the first. He lost 3-1 in a game that could have gone either way.

After one event he is currently # 10 in the country and I sure he will go higher when playing more events.  

Please congratulate him when you see him for a remarkable achievement.  

Please also congratulate Danial and Nabil Saleem for reaching the semi finals of the BU17 consolation draw and Vivek Markandan the quarter Finals for the BU19 consolation draw. Well done boys and keep up the good work.
