US Masters Championships Atlanta travels well…
Gough captures 70+ National Title

The Concourse Athletic Club took it's third Poole Cup title on
October 24th by the barest of margins over Midtown Club and LifeTimeFitness.
Named after Keith Poole, a longtime Atlanta squash supporter, the
cup goes to the club that wins the most matches in a three-way playoff
over one day.
At the close of the 45 matches at CAC, CAC's #1
Justin Mather reversed the result at the Dragon Doc tourney in August
by defeating Midtown’s #1 Chris Tham, 12-10 in the fifth. As a result
the competition was tied at 18 matches won by both Midtown and Concourse.
The decider? Games won, which Concourse nosed out by a 69-67 margin.
There was a great turnout and support for the event, chaired by
Mather, who can be seen sipping the fruits(?) of victory post-event.
Congratulations, Concourse!

By division, Midtown won the 5.0s, the <4.0s, and the <3.5s.
Concourse won the <5.0s and the <4.5s. By comparison, Lifetime,
which won only a single match last year, took file matches against
Midtown and four against Concourse, playing the deciding role in
the match outcome for the weekend. Well Done!
